Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team and Coach Kelsey Hendrix for winning the N10 championship. Their exciting 3 set victory over Carey clinched them the title. The National Honor Society students are currently coordinating the annual Pack-The-Pickup food drive. The drive began on Oct. 5th and will continue through Oct. 23rd. All donations will be divided between the Attica and Republic food pantries. Families and friends can drop off donations at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd right into the truck. Students can also bring donations to school with them this week. The classes that donate the most items will win a fun incentive day! Specifically, the winning class in grades K-5 will win a pajama-popcorn party. Likewise, the winning class in grades 6-12 will win the party as well.

The Camp Nuhop fundraiser delivery will be this Thursday, October 15 from 3:00 to 5:00 at the back of the school. Please follow the fire lane by the Vog-Ag building to the rear of the school. The delivery truck will be parked in front of the Middle school back doors. Please note: if the orders are small we will make every effort to send them home with the students, if not please plan to pick them up by 5:00.
All parents, families, community members, and friends are invited to listen to the Seneca East “Tiger Pride” band on October 23rd. There will be two available time slots of 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Spectators are asked to please keep masks on. A maximum of 186 spectators are allowed in the homeside bleachers. We would like to keep everyone in the home side bleachers to ensure that spectators get the FULL TIGER PRIDE SOUND. Families should sign up on the Seneca East Music Booster Facebook page using the “purchase tickets” function. Please make sure to reserve all family member tickets for one time slot. It's National School Lunch Week! The theme this year is "Now Playing: School Lunch." This week's lunches feature movie-theater foods, and for today's lunch our administrators passed out bags of popcorn to all of the students!

LAST CALL: The Kindness Club is raising money to help an SE family who has a 2yr old that was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We will be selling wristbands and t-shirts district wide to help the family. The fundraiser will end this Friday, Oct. 16. Jake Forehand qualifies for the 2020 State Golf Tournament! Jake shot a 77 today at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green to move on to state next Friday and Saturday at NorthStar Golf Club. Congratulations and best of luck to Jake next week as Jake represents Seneca East.
