Brooke Griffin

Seneca East would like to congratulate Brooke Griffin for being named the 2026 Ohio Outstanding Biology Teacher of the Year by the National Association of Biology Teachers. This honor highlights Mrs. Griffin's dedication to delivering a strong science education while encouraging students to be curious, and to think critically.

Mrs. Griffin is passionate about leading innovative courses and hands-on opportunities. She currently teaches Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, CCP/AP Biology, CCP Marine Science and Forensic Science. Additionally, she is the advisor of the NABT sponsored Biology club which provides science lessons and activities for elementary students. She has helped many students discover new interersts and pursue advanced studies. Her work has expanded opportunities for students and created a positive learning environment at Seneca East. Mrs. Griffin's selection as Ohio's Outstanding Biology Teacher places her among an elite group of science educators. She will represent Ohio this fall at the National Association of Biology Teachers Professional Development Conference, where educators from across the country will be recognized for their achievements.
