Pursuant to the Paperwork Burden Reduction Act and recent IRS guidance (IRS Notice 2025-15), Seneca East Local Schools is utilizing an alternative method for furnishing Form 1095-C.

We will no longer automatically mail paper copies of Form 1095-C to your home address.

·       What is Form 1095-C? Form 1095-C provides information about the health insurance coverage offered to you by Seneca East Local Schools. While this form is related to your taxes, it is not required to file your 2025 federal income tax return. You may simply indicate on your return that you had health coverage.

How to Request a Copy

If you would like to receive a copy of your Form 1095-C for your records, you have the right to request one at any time. We will provide the form to you within 30 days of your request.

Important Reminders

  • W-2s are Unchanged: This update does not affect your W-2, which will be distributed as usual.

  • IRS Filing: Please note that while we are not mailing individual copies to everyone, Seneca East Local Schools still files all required 1095-C data directly with the IRS to remain in full compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
