The last day of the Washington DC trip for the 8th graders included Mount Vernon, the homestead of George Washington. Students were able to explore the grounds and stables along with seeing the burial site of George Washington and his wife Martha.
We also drove, drove, and drove 416 miles to return to Seneca East!
