Seneca East Local Schools is gearing up for another school year. We are excited to announce that we will start the year with another award under our belts. The Tiny Tigers Preschool was recently given a five-star Step Up To Quality rating — the highest possible — by the Ohio Department of Education.
Step Up To Quality recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality standards that exceed preschool licensing and school-age childcare licensing health and safety regulations. This award is especially meaningful considering the preschool just completed its first year in operation.
Our dedicated staff is integral to the district receiving this award. The preschool is designed to be a place “Where Tigers Earn Their Stripes,” catapulting students into their kindergarten year full of knowledge of routines, how to play with others and make friends, and skills like reading, coloring, creating, and writing. Our teachers and leaders are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each student, and we are so thankful for our community’s support of teaching and growing our early learners.
