US News & World Report High School Rankings

US News and World Report recently published its list of top high schools both in Ohio and throughout the U.S.  Seneca East, once again, fared very well earning the 158th spot on the list of top Ohio high schools.  However, when looking at enrollments that either match ours or are lower, Seneca East High School ranked 12th in the state of Ohio.  Scores used for US News' calculations are based on college curriculum breadth, graduation rates, percentages of economically disadvantaged or underserved students, math proficiency and performance scores, language arts proficiency and performance scores, college readiness indices, and Advanced Placement participation and passage rates.  Nationally, Seneca East ranked at #4,240 out of 17,857 high schools examined.  To attain these rankings takes a group effort of students, parents, teachers, support staff, administration and community working together to maintain high expectations for all of our kids so that we can continue to be an academic leader in the region.  Congratulations to everyone on a job well done.
